Steamed Banana and Choc Chunk Pudding

Ingredients
125g butter, softened
1/2 cup caster sugar
2 eggs
½ cups self-raising flour
3 tablespoons milk
1 banana, thinly sliced
125g (5 rows) Cadbury® Dark Cooking Chocolate, chopped
Method
- Cream the butter and caster sugar together. Add the eggs, one at a time, and beat well.
- Add the flour and milk alternately to make a thick batter.
- Fold in the sliced banana and chocolate. Spoon into a greased 5-cup pudding basin. Cover with a tight-fitting lid.
- Place the basin in a saucepan of boiling water and steam for 1 and a half hours
- Invert the basin onto a warmed serving plate. Serve with Chocolate Sauce (see this page), custard, cream or ice cream.
Note: This pudding can be reheated in the microwave by covering with plastic cling film and heating each serve for 1 minute on High (100% power).
