125g (half a tub) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1 cup CADBURY CARAMILK chips
Icing:
125g (half a tub) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese
3 Tbsp butter
¾ cup icing sugar
1 Tbsp glucose
1 tsp vanilla essence
Get into some festive baking with these delicious cinnamon scrolls. They’re the perfect treat for Christmas morning.
Method
- Warm milk in microwave for 30 seconds on high.
- Transfer milk to the bowl of an electric stand mixer and sprinkle yeast on top.
- Add sugar, egg, yolk and melted butter. Mix until combined.
- Stir in flour and salt.
- Place dough hook on stand mixer and knead on medium speed for 8 minutes. The dough should form a nice ball.
- Transfer to a well-oiled bowl, cover with clingfilm and allow to rise for 1 ½ hours or until doubled in size.
- Place on a well-floured surface and roll into a 35cm x 22cm rectangle.
- Spread softened PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese over the dough to the edges, sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon and CADBURY CARAMILK chips.
- Tightly roll up and place seam side down. Cut into 9 pieces with a sharp knife.
- Place rolls on a lined baking pan. Cover with clingfilm and allow to rise for 30-45 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 175C fan forced. Remove clingfilm and bake cinnamon scrolls for 12-15 minutes until lightly browned.
- Cool for 10 minutes before frosting.
- To make the icing, in a small pot over low heat combine PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, butter, icing sugar, glucose and vanilla. When combined, remove from heat and drizzle over scrolls.
