Cadbury has been part of the fabric of Tasmania since the opening of our manufacturing site in 1922, and is committed to investing in the local community and building a culture of togetherness. Today we continue to embed and strengthen our commitment to Tasmania, our team of 600 employees and the wider community via a partnership with the Hobart Hurricanes.
With over 150 local cricket clubs across Tasmania and over 14,000 active players, coaches and referees, cricket is a key passion point for Tasmanians – maybe only second to their passion for our chocolate. Just like Cricket Tasmania, Cadbury is for all Tasmanians and this partnership has sought to bring the local community together. The pairing is a match made in Tasmania.
With supporters in the thousands flocking to many pitches over the last two seasons, staff and fans have united with the launch of the iconic Cadbury Hill, a symbol of togetherness and community spirit at Blundstone Arena in Hobart.
Staff and fans have the chance to create memorable moments.
We created the opportunity for meet and greets with their favourite team, including VIP experiences, player appearances and at-game experiences. We’ve also partnered with Cricket Tasmania on professional development seminars that inspire the local community.
